It’s Father’s Day today. The kids did a foam picture frame to present to their father (or mother as it is after all Parents’ Month this month)
DIY Foam Picture Frame.
You’ll need half an A4 size of coloured craft foam. Place a smaller rectangle paper in the middle of that craft foam and draw a line along it.
Cut according to the line.
Paste a sheet of plastic over the cut out hole. Stick using cellophane tape.
Paste a coloured construction paper on a piece of rectangle hard board card. Paste double layered tape as shown above.
Paste the rectangle craft foam over the hard board card. Punch two holes on the hardboard card and tie ribbon.
Decorate as you wish. I’ve always loved ladybug as I believe it brings good luck. Refer here for the foam ladybug tutorial.
When we go out shopping, we like to sample food given by the promoters and always end up with lots of paper cups in hand. Instead of just disposing them, if they are used to serve you cereals or any dry food, chances are they are still clean. Let’s do Mother Nature a favour and recycle those paper cups. Let’s transform them into pretty flowers 🙂
Paper Cup Flower
See this paper cup? Don’t throw them away.
Let’s make a flower out of it 🙂
Cut all around the paper cup
Cut a circle out of craft foam and paste.
Any color of your choice.
Remember the video I shared on how to cut letters out of paper here ? Well, we are going to make use of our new found skill and make learning the alphabets so much FUN!
From today onwards we are going to make random alphabet craft projects. We are going to start with the letter D. We are going to make a Dino teaching aid 😀
D for Dinosaur 🙂
Cut out a D and outline it on a brown foam or any color of your choice.
That letter D will be the prominent feature in this craft
Using other colors except brown, cut out body parts from craft foams.
I refrain from using brown again as we need the letter D to stand out.
Glue onto the letter D
Cut out shapes for decorative purposes and glue onto the dinosaur
Since making the vitagen bottle elephant the other day, I’m very inspired to make other animals out of it. Today, we shall make a panda out of a vitagen bottle 🙂
Vitagen Panda

– Do the same for the base of the bottle.
– Paste small strips of paper to cover the entire surface and add some black parts using black sugar paper.
– Cut two ears out of black craft foam and paste
– Cut 2 eyes out of black sugar paper and paste.
– Paste 2 small googly eyes on it.
– Cut a small heart shape for the nose and draw the mouth.
– Use black craft foam as the legs.
