Today we will be making a face mask or rather an eye mask from colored construction paper.

You’ll need construction papers of various colors.

Trace your hand onto two different colored paper.

Cut. Cut a hole in the middle for the eyes to see.

Paste them together.

Decorate.

Paste a chopstick at the back and your handprint face mask is done!

Let’s do handprinting again 🙂 Remember the Octopus we did?  Since we are in the mood for octopus, let’s make a handprint Octopus 🙂

Handprint Octopus

Paint four fingers and your palm. Stamp on a piece of paper. Paint again and stamp again so that your octopus has 8 tentacles.

Paint your fingertip white and stamp as the eyes.

Use a black marker to draw the eye balls and mouth and the octopus is done 🙂

Exactly 5 years ago on this date, I married my hubs 🙂 He gave me a beautiful imported dual colored tulip bouquet.

To celebrate our wedding anniversary today, we made this handprint tulip 😀

Paint it in two tonnes for better effect

Stamp your painted palm on a piece of paper

Paint 3 fingers green

Stamp as the leaf. Repeat until you get the desired effect.

I’ve always love dove. Let’s make a very simple hand and footprint dove today 🙂


Hand and Footprint Dove


Draw the outline of your palm on a piece of white paper


Draw the outline of your foot on a piece of white paper


Cut them out


Dot some glue on the hand cut out


Paste the hand cut out onto the foot cut out


You’ll get a flying dove 🙂


Use marker to draw a dot as the eye. Dab some glue on the dove


Paste the dove onto a piece of black sugar paper


Oh yeah, cut a beak out of a brown felt and paste. I framed up my dove and it turned out beautiful 😀

Our hand print can do wonders when it comes to arts and crafts. Today, let’s make a frog out of it 🙂

Handprint Frog

You'll need green and white paper, a black marker pen and glue.

Draw a circle out of the green paper and cut. You may need to assist your child to cut the circle if he has yet to master the scissors 🙂

Fold the green paper into two. Draw your hand print and cut. You will need two hand print cut outs.

Paste the hand print as the frog's feet.

Cut two eyes out of the white paper and paste as the frog's eyes.

Use the black marker to draw the eyes, nose and mouth. Your hand print frog is all done and ready to hop 🙂

There’s nothing a mother loves more than a handmade handprint flower bouquet from the little one. This Mother’s Day, let’s get the little tots to do something for us 😛

Mother's Day Handprint Flower Bouquet

Draw your handprint on various colour papers.

Cut them out.

Paste them onto a piece of paper; the handprint being the petals.

Arrange and paste them until they form a flower.

Cut a piece of felt as the stalk and some heart shape as the leaves. Paste them.

Done! A bouquet of handprint flowers for Mommy! Boy, he doesn't look too happy 😛 😀

Mix red and white together to get pink. You may also use any other colour as you wish 🙂

Paint your palm and print it onto a piece of paper.

Repeat and print all around till you get a complete flower.

Paint your fingers green and print it on the bottom of the paper as the grass.

Paint your fingers a lighter shade of green and print it on the bottom of the paper again.

Draw a line down from the flower to the grass. Use the brush to dot the middle of the flower and you are done.

Incy Wincy Spider climb up the water spout.. Let’s paint a spider today 🙂

You'll need black water colour for the spider. You may also use dark brown or any other colour your child wishes his/her spider to be 🙂

Paint your palm and four fingers black.

Stamp the painted palm onto a piece of paper.

You'll get one half of the spider.

Paint the other side of your palm and the four fingers.

Stamp it next to the first half.

You'll get a complete spider now.

Grip your fist and paint it black.

Stamp it on the body of the spider.

Paint your fingertips yellow and dot it around the head as spider has many eyes all over.

Paint your fingertip red and dot it on the yellow dots and your spider is done 🙂
