All you need is lots of leaves, paint brush, tempera paste and a piece of paper for stamping on. We used plastic egg cartons to store paints and empty drink bottles to wash the paint brush. We try to recycle stuffs before disposing them.

Chinese New Year is approaching fast and we are ready to welcome the year of the Snake. Let’s make a snake out of egg cartons today.
Just cut the egg cartons into individual cups and paint green.
Paste googly eyes and tongue (cut out of felt or angpow wrapper).
Paste dots on the body.
Punch a hole and tie a string through the egg carton cups.
The snake is done!

Paint your palm brown.
Stamp it onto a piece of drawing art block.
Cut the eyes and beak out of an egg carton.
Paint the eyes and beak.
While waiting for the egg carton to dry, paste some feathers on the handprint.
Paste the eyes onto the handprint and the cute owl is done! Boot boot! 😀

Meow! My boy loves cat and he’ll get excited each time we do a cat craft. Today, we did a cat pencil holder using a large toilet roll.
Toilet Roll Cat Pencil Holder
You’ll need a large toilet paper roll and egg carton as the ears.
Glue the ears to the toilet paper roll and let dry
Glue the toilet paper roll onto a hard board
Once dry, trim off the excess board
Paint it, inside out.
Twist a newspaper
Wrap it with masking tape
Glue cotton around it and paste as the tail
Dab your brush on the cotton to paint it
Paste eyes, nose and draw whiskers and your pencil holder made of entirely recycled materials is done! 😀
He loves it!
We will be going to the beach real soon for a holiday. Getting really excited! Today, we are going to make a turtle/tortoise out of egg carton to gear up for our upcoming getaway! 😀

Cut the body out of craft foams
Glue the coloured egg carton onto the craft foam.
Glue magnets at the back and you’ll get a cute fridge magnet! 😀
Remember we did egg carton grapes sometime ago? Well, today we are going to do something similar, today we are making egg carton heart 🙂

You’ll need 12 egg carton cups
Paint them red
It’s so much easier to paint if you place them on an egg carton 🙂
Arrange them into a heart shape and glue them in place

If you see a crocodile,
Don’t forget to SCREAM! 😀
Alligator or crocodile.. call it what you want as we are making one today 🙂

Glue 3 toilet paper rolls together or you may just use kitchen roll.
Glue the egg carton on it and let dry.
Paint the alligator green
Paint the eyes white
Paint the eyeball black. Paste the legs and teeth and the alligator is done 🙂

Paint stripes on it
Glue wings onto the bee
Bend a pipe cleaner (chenille stick) and glue on the head
Paste the eyes and the bee is done 🙂
Feeling a little Oink Oink today so we will be making a paper plate pig! 😀

You’ll need a paper plate, two cups from the egg carton and a ring cut out of toilet paper roll
Paste a piece of paper on one side of the toilet paper roll ring and cut out the excess
Glue the egg carton and toilet paper roll ring onto the paper plate. Let dry.
Paint the entire surface pink
Leave it to dry
Paste eyes and nose. I used hole punch and punch out black construction paper for the nose.
Your pig is done 😀 Oink Oink!
It has been sometime since we last did an egg carton craft. Today, let’s make an elephant! 😀

You’ll need a head with huge ears and a body with legs.
Cut them out
Paint it whatever colour you like 🙂
Paint the ears and eyes and your elephant is done 🙂

We’ll need some colored corrugated papers , egg carton and wooden sticks
Draw a triangle on a drawing board and paint on both sides
Once dry, cut and paste on a wooden stick
Use a single hole punch and punch a hole in the middle of the egg carton
Paste corrugated paper to cover the egg carton
Place the wooden stick with the sail in the hole and sit two eggs in your sail boat 🙂
We are ready to sail 😀

Let them dry

Glue them together
Hold them together so that they stick nicely on each other

Use pink craft foams to decorate the pig and you are done 🙂

So Incy Wincy spider went up the spout again!
