My boys have too many cars. They are everywhere. We built a multi-level toy car garage using large toilet paper roll last weekend.
Toilet Paper Roll Multi Level Toy Car Garage
All we need are many huge toilet paper rolls and a thick board to support it at the back.
Paste double-layered tapes on the rolls and stick them together.
Glue a thick board at the back so the cars won’t fall off. My little boy had fun keeping his cars in the garage. I think it’s time to make him a bigger garage with more levels 🙂
This is a great school holiday crafts for kids. Today we will be transforming a simple plastic bottle into a cool Airplane Pencil Case.
Papier Mache Airplane Pencil Case
– Slit open an empty plastic bottle.
– Cut wings and tail out of old carton boxes and tape them onto the bottle
– Cut strips of old newspaper into small pieces and soak them in water
– Glue paper all over the entire bottle with the last layer being plain white paper.
– Let dry overnight
Paint the airplane and glue a 20cm zipper around the opening.
The Papier Mache Airplane Pencil Case is ready for your kids to show off to friends when school reopens ^_^
This week during Creative Expression, the kids were told to act out the vehicles they love best. They were allowed to use only things that can be found in the studio as props.
Train.. Choo Choo!!!!
Car – Driving on Federal Highway. Obviously they haven’t tried driving through the massive JAM! See if they’ll still be able to smile then! 😛
Boat – Row, row, row your boat…
Aeroplane – Up, up and away!
And lastly..
Mat Rempit!@_@ (That is what we call those with BIG BIKES driving recklessly on the road!)
Remember back in our ol’ school days we used to fold this boat? I was reminded of this boat by my students. Let’s see how she fold this boat. Fold an a4 paper into half. Fold the sides to the middle line. Both sides. Fold the four corners up to the middle. And again for all four corners. Like this. Fold a small flip at both sides. The trickiest part is to turn the boat inside out. Once you got that mastered, you’ll get your origami boat! The kids and their boat. Unfortunately, there was no boat for Ethan that day. But he is still happy though! ^^
