Valentine’s Day is around the corner. Let’s make a puffy heart today <3

Valentine’s Puffy Heart

Referring to our post here, cut a heart out of hard construction paper to be used as the template. Let the kids trace the outline of the heart on white hard construction paper.

Cut the heart out. Younger kids might need assistance in cutting the heart.

Paint the heart red. Let dry. Repeat on the other side.

Using a hole punch, punch a hole on the heart.

Cut long strips out of crepe paper. Cut again into small squares.

Crumple the crepe papers squares into tiny balls. You’ll need plenty of these.

Spread PVA Glue on one side of the heart.

Scatter the crepe paper balls onto the heart and press down to secure them. Repeat on the other side.

Tie a gold string through the hole and the Valentine’s Puffy Heart craft is done
It’s St. Patrick’s today and let’s celebrate by making a four leaf clover out of toilet paper roll

Four Leaf Clover

You’ll need to cut the toilet paper rolls into rings. You’ll need four rings

Press and shape them until you get 4 heart rings

Paint the heart rings green

It can get pretty messy on the fingers

Cut green crepe paper and paste onto a paper plate

Once the four heart rings dry, paste them onto the paper plate too.
Happy St. Patrick’s to all craftiers out there
Fresh flowers are beautiful but they don’t last. This is my first time venturing into making paper flowers. Instead of using tissue paper, I used crepe paper instead.

Crepe paper carnation

I used crepe paper instead of tissue paper and pipe cleaner instead of the floral wire.

Accordion fold the crepe paper. Fold it once from one side to the other and fold again.

Loop the pipe cleaner in the middle and slowly pull and spread out the crepe paper.

I used pipe cleaner so that it can be looped around little girls' wrist as a corsage. Ideal as a wedding favor
Mother’s Day is fast approaching. It will be nice to make a bouquet of this and present them to Mommies out there
Remember the Happy Family Chicken Eggs we just did? Remember the Easter Egg Bunny? All we need to do now is make a basket to keep them nicely together

Easter Egg Basket. The Happy Chicken Family and their friend, the Easter Bunny

Cut an empty egg carton. We'll need only four 'nests'.

Trim the sides and paste double-sided tape. Stick a strip of crepe paper all around it.

In case you're wondering how to prepare the crepe paper, just cut a strip and fold. Then trim one end so that it's a little bit rounded.

Use a hole punch and punch a hole each on both sides of the basket. Put a pipe cleaner through it and twist to secure. The Easter Egg Basket is done
