Lucky Stars

This is a classic ol’ school craft. Back in our ol’ school days, we made lucky stars for that ‘special’ someone.. It’s always nice to be receiving these lucky star charm from basically anyone! 🙂

Start with a strip of paper. Tie a “knot” in the end of your paper.

Fold the end of the strip down and tuck it into the knot.

Now wrap the other end of the strip around and around this pentagon you have formed, creasing gently as you go.

Keep wrapping until you get to the end of the strip. Tuck the last bit of the strip into the pouch.

And your lovely little lucky star is all done. Make dozens of it and keep them in a cute little jar. Present it to your loved ones. It's a nice little gift. :)

  3. my bestfriend gave me a bottle full of colorful stars as a gift on my debut! i love it the best coz it’s something handmade!

    I tried making those stars just that i don’t do it as nice as she does =)

    she missed to attend my debut coz it’s prelims period so her mom didn’t let her go….

  8. I love to make lucky stars very much. I have make many bottles of it and all give to my special frens.

    Currently I have two small bottle at home for my husband.

    But I am doing the lucky stars another way. I did not tie a knot at the first step.

    Although it is just a two small bottles of the stars, but I have spent quite some time in cutting the strips into 5mm each and using my very best skill to fold it perfectly.

    I think the stars really turned lucky lor…because he has got me as his wife..Hehe. (perasan)
