Cock-a-doodle-doo! Let’s make a rooster out of your footprint today.

Footprint rooster.

Paint the foot yellow and the toes red.

Stamp it onto a piece of paper. Use your thumbprint as the rooster's wattle. Add eye and beak. Your rooster is done.
If your little ones have done this and you would like the world to see it, share it with us here.
Kids just love to play with paint. Give them a brush and paint and just see them go.. Sometimes, with a little guide, we can help them create something nice. Here, we created a footprint butterfly.

Footprint butterfly.

Paint your foot to any colour you wish your butterfly to be. It may be ticklish to some..

Print your foot on a piece of paper.

Paint another foot and print it next to the initial print.

The wings are done.

Paint your finger with any colour to decorate the wings.

Just dot around the wings for added colour.

Playing Peek-A-Boo is never this fun! Using your footprint as the ear and handprint as the bush to hide in, let’s create a cute rabbit.

Footprint paper plate rabbit.

Draw an outline of your palm. Cut out several handprints. Use different shades of green for better effect.

Draw an outline of both of your feet. Cut. Cut out a smaller version in pink. Paste on top of the white footprint.

Paste the handprints as bushes. Add the eyes and your footprint paper plate rabbit is ready to hide and seek!

Ethan did a card for his Daddy today based on our Father’s Day Handprint Card.

Father’s Day Card

He drew his hand print

Paste the handprint and the heart. He wrote a message by himself.. aww…

Daddy is happy. Fully written by himself, my boy, turning four next month 😀

Parents often asked me what paint I used for our finger, hand and footprint projects. Well folks… we use Chroma Kidz Colours – Fingerpaints for kids 🙂

Click here for more info on the paints 😀

You know I do a lot of hand and foot painting with my boy. When it’s time to wash his hands or feet, it is such a hassle if I need to grab hold of a soap bar or squeeze some out of a bottle.
What I normally do is to wash and decorate my empty shower gel bottles and refill them with handwash liquid.
I have a bottle in every corner of my house! Just kidding 😀 I only have them in every corner of the washroom 😛
