We are very excited today. We did a paper mache aeroplane! We can now build our very own toys! Yeay!

Paper Mache Aeroplane

Cut wings and tail out of paper plate and attach to an empty plastic bottle using masking tape.

Spread glue on the bottle and paste wet shredded paper. Repeat until the entire bottle is covered.

It is best to paste few layers to get solid and hard aeroplane.

Finish with a layer of white recycled paper and let dry.

Paint it with the colour of your choice.

Decorate it.

Paint windows and all. Let dry and spray a layer of varnish to seal the paint.

He now has a new aeroplane to play with!

This week during Creative Expression, the kids were told to act out the vehicles they love best. They were allowed to use only things that can be found in the studio as props.
Train.. Choo Choo!!!!
Car – Driving on Federal Highway. Obviously they haven’t tried driving through the massive JAM! See if they’ll still be able to smile then!
Boat – Row, row, row your boat…
Aeroplane – Up, up and away!
And lastly..
Mat Rempit! @_@ (That is what we call those with BIG BIKES driving recklessly on the road!)
UFO – Unidentified Flying Object. Let’s make one today

Paper plate UFO

You’ll need to paint two pieces of paper plates.

Decorate the paper plate with glitter paper.
Cut an alien out of green paper and paste.

Glue an empty plastic container over the alien.
Glue the two pieces of paper plates together.

We had a ‘Project UFO’ in the studio last Saturday.

And the kids loved it. These are some of their UFOs

Boys will definitely love this craft

Your awesome rocket is done!
Want to have your favourite animated characters as your fridge magnet? It does not have to cost alot. Try this simple to do fridge magnets…

Character Fridge Magnet / Note Holder

Take any of your favourite animated characters stickers.

Paste it onto any hardboard paper. I used name cards from the mail box. It's better to recycle them than to throw them away just like that.

Cut it and glue a cute peg at the back.

Glue a magnet on the peg and let dry.

Your fridge magnet is ready. Simple and inexpensive
