The genius part of her uses the floor tiles as a 'ruler' to measure and cut the material into smaller pieces. See? When crafting, all you need to be is CREATIVE No ruler? Improvise. The floor tiles can even act as one! That's totally NEW to me

She got lots of earrings and bracelets from Bali ready

She wrapped them up

And then she made some cards

Fresh Fruit Skewers

Anney was planning to arrange the fruit skewers into a terracotta pot but she saw this picket fence planter box and thought it was cute.

She used a floral foam for the base and embellished the planter box with vines and a ladybug.

She used cookie cutters to cut out the shapes.

Pretty.. just too pretty. Use lots of heart shapes for this coming Valentine's Day

Cupcake Bouquet

Anney didn't use buttercream frosting for her cupcakes coz she was afraid it will melt and fall apart due to the hot weather. She used melted chocolate and colorful sprinkles. It set quickly and perfectly!She used a glue gun to attach the styrofoam ball into the embellished terracotta pot. She then glued some strips of green japanese paper all over the styro so it will not be visible and for a grassy effect.

She inserted bamboo skewers into the styrofoam ball and attached the cupcakes all the way around.

Felt Corset Purse

Materials she used:
a piece of felt fabric/material
threads and needle for sewing
jewel/earring/ or any button or ribbon as ornament
beading/jewelry wire or laces

Ayie said,

Sorry I wasn’t able to document each and every step since I wasn’t so sure if it will come out good. I cut the felt in 2 equal rectangles and trimmed lower side to give the corset emphasis. Stitched both pieces together (sewn part inside) to form the purse. After having the body done i decorated the “face” with running stitch using darker shade thread. To achieve a roundish bust form,pull the stitches a bit tighter. Work on the handle with the leftover strip and attach to the purse. Voila, a simple corset purse!

12 hour cuties – Clock

I found this clock in the thrift store and right away I thought of making a clock with my cutie niece’s photos. That’s why I called it 12 hr cuties. We’ve been apart since I left and at least having that clock here at home makes me see her all the time.

Instructions:

~ get clock interior measurement for the face

~ gather photos for layouting (edited in photoshop)

~ disassemble clock, replace with the printed new face

~ assemble back to pieces and there you have it!
