There’s nothing a mother loves more than a handmade handprint flower bouquet from the little one. This Mother’s Day, let’s get the little tots to do something for us
Mother's Day Handprint Flower Bouquet
Draw your handprint on various colour papers.
Cut them out.
Paste them onto a piece of paper; the handprint being the petals.
Arrange and paste them until they form a flower.
Cut a piece of felt as the stalk and some heart shape as the leaves. Paste them.
Done! A bouquet of handprint flowers for Mommy! Boy, he doesn't look too happy
I so love this Easter project that I did with Ethan (well, most of it was ME as empty egg shells are too fragile to be handled by him). The end result is just too satisfying and cute!
Let’s start
One Happy Family Chicken Eggs
You'll need some empty egg shells.
You'll need to cut out some 'chicken parts' from coloured felts and paste double layered tape on it.
Paste all the parts onto the empty egg shell. Draw two dots as the eyes.
Introducing... Daddy Chicken Egg
Put your hands together for... Mummy Chicken Eggs
Our bundle of joy... Baby Chicken Egg a.k.a. Ethan
Together, we make a lovely Happy Family portrait
I’m still smiling looking at those eggs If you have any Easter projects you want to share with us, please submit them here and we’ll link it back to you. Thank you
Easter is around the corner. Let’s make a simple but cute Easter greeting card
Easter Greeting Card
Trace the outline of your palm and cut. You'll need both sides of your palms cut out.
Cut out an oval from a yellow construction paper.
Paste the palm cut out on each side as the wings.
Cut a triangle from a brown felt as the beak. Two circles from beach felt as the eyes. Cut two legs from brown foam and two small circles from black foam. Glue. You may also opt to use construction paper instead of felt and foam but I prefer felt and foam for a better finish
Felt is a non-woven cloth that is produced by matting, condensing and pressing woolen fibres. While some types of felt are very soft, some are tough enough to form construction materials. Felt can be of any color, and made into any shape or size.
Felt is widely used in craft projects as the outcome are often natural and soft.
Come Christmas, all I can think of is a wonderful winter wonderland. Let’s get some paper plate and ‘build’ a cute snowman
Paper Plate Snowman
Glue two paper plates together. Put cloth pegs to secure it until the glue dries up.
I cut a carrot out of an orange foam for the nose. Glue it onto the snowman.
I cut circles out of green foam for the buttons. See my boy trying to photograph himself pasting the buttons here. He's learning to take over my job!
Use a hole punch to punch out tiny dots for the mouth.
I use felt for the scarf, pipe cleaner for the hands and foam and ribbon for the ear muffs. The snowman is ready to cheer up your wall. If you wish to convert it into a mobile, just do two of it and paste it back to back. Tie a string over it and hang. Nice

Materials she used:
a piece of felt fabric/material
threads and needle for sewing
jewel/earring/ or any button or ribbon as ornament
beading/jewelry wire or laces
Ayie said,
Sorry I wasn’t able to document each and every step since I wasn’t so sure if it will come out good. I cut the felt in 2 equal rectangles and trimmed lower side to give the corset emphasis. Stitched both pieces together (sewn part inside) to form the purse. After having the body done i decorated the “face” with running stitch using darker shade thread. To achieve a roundish bust form, pull the stitches a bit tighter. Work on the handle with the leftover strip and attach to the purse. Voila, a simple corset purse!
This Christmas, after all the attention spent on your Christmas tree, don’t forget your walls. They could use some cheering up too. Let’s make this cheerful ‘Rudolph’.
Hand and foot print reindeer.
Trace your footprint on a piece of felt.
Trace your handprints onto another felt of different colour.
Paste and decorate the reindeer.
