We saw some boxes lying at the corner of the craft room and came out with this impromptu idea of making a mini city for all his toy vehicles

We saw some old cardboard boxes and kitchen paper rolls today and decided to make a castle out of it

Kitchen paper roll castle

We use some old box and kitchen paper rolls

Cut one end of the kitchen paper rolls to look like the top of a castle tower.

Draw a door and cut until you are able to ‘open’ it

Cut the kitchen paper roll so that you can slide the cardboard in

Slide the cardboards into the kitchen paper rolls.

Personalized it as you wish. My boy insisted of pasting ‘bricks’ on the castle

Let’s go sailing today

Egg carton sail boat

We’ll need some colored corrugated papers, egg carton and wooden sticks

Draw a triangle on a drawing board and paint on both sides

Once dry, cut and paste on a wooden stick

Use a single hole punch and punch a hole in the middle of the egg carton

Paste corrugated paper to cover the egg carton

Place the wooden stick with the sail in the hole and sit two eggs in your sail boat

We are ready to sail
