Refer to the video we shared on how to cut letters from paper here and we’ll be making alphabet teaching aid again today.
Today’s lucky letter is O.
O is for Octopus
Cut an O out of a piece of paper.
Use that paper O as a guide to draw the outline on a piece of colored foam.
Cut eight tentacles for the octopus.
Use hole punch and punch some circle foams.
Paste the small circles onto the tentacles.
Glue the decorated tentacles onto the O and you are done

Remember the video I shared on how to cut letters out of paper here ? Well, we are going to make use of our new found skill and make learning the alphabets so much FUN!
From today onwards we are going to make random alphabet craft projects. We are going to start with the letter D. We are going to make a Dino teaching aid
D for Dinosaur
Cut out a D and outline it on a brown foam or any color of your choice.
That letter D will be the prominent feature in this craft
Using other colors except brown, cut out body parts from craft foams.
I refrain from using brown again as we need the letter D to stand out.
Glue onto the letter D
Cut out shapes for decorative purposes and glue onto the dinosaur
The Dinosaur is done

Remember the abstract art we did previously? If you don’t, check it out here.
We are going to make a lantern out of that art piece today.
Craft Stick Lantern
Paste 4 craft sticks to form a square on the art piece
Paste more sticks until you get 4 squares
Cut and paste the end together. Cover the bottom and stick a tea light in the middle.
I made another using Panda as the motive and I find it really cool
Using crayons, I drew a couple of pandas on a tracing paper
Like this
Cover it with another tracing paper
Iron. Again, please be careful while handling hot iron. Make sure the little ones are no where nearby.
Cut and glue together
Nice

For the very first time, we did a paint art. I drew the koala bears and guide Ethan to paint them. Here’s how to draw a simple koala bear.

Draw some claws and add details such as eyes and nose
First paint the sky
Then, paint some clouds
Paint the tree trunk
Add shades to the tree trunk
Add leaves
Add contours/colors to the leaves
First, outline the koala bear and then paint.
Lastly shade the bear and you’re done.
