Halloween is just around the corner. Let’s start preparing for ‘Trick or Treat’.
We don’t need to burn a hole in our pocket this festive season. Just DIY what we can. For this Halloween Goodie Bag, all we need is brown paper bag and black sugar paper.
DIY Halloween Trick or Treat Bag
First, draw any creepy Halloween features on the black sugar paper. Let your child cut it out. You may need to assist him/her if they are not ready to handle the scissors yet.
Apply glue to one side of the sugar paper.
Paste onto the brown bag. Decorate as you wish.
The Halloween Goodie bag is ready. You may also use brown bags with handles.
Meow! My boy loves cat and he’ll get excited each time we do a cat craft. Today, we did a cat pencil holder using a large toilet roll.
Toilet Roll Cat Pencil Holder
You’ll need a large toilet paper roll and egg carton as the ears.
Glue the ears to the toilet paper roll and let dry
Glue the toilet paper roll onto a hard board
Once dry, trim off the excess board
Paint it, inside out.
Twist a newspaper
Wrap it with masking tape
Glue cotton around it and paste as the tail
Dab your brush on the cotton to paint it
Paste eyes, nose and draw whiskers and your pencil holder made of entirely recycled materials is done! 😀
He loves it!
Our crafts are going green so don’t throw your egg carton away. Let’s make a cool cat today 🙂
Egg carton cat
Cut the egg carton individually as shown in the picture above.
Glue them together and paint.
Paint your fingertip white and stamp as the eyes
Cut two triangles from felt and paste as the ears
Decorate the cat as you wish
The egg carton cat is ready. Meow 😀
